This website provides general information about MisenCare Psychiatry services. When you book an appointment, you are redirected to Headway, a secure scheduling, telehealth, electronic health record, and billing platform with its own privacy and security policies.

MisenCare Psychiatry may use HIPAA-compliant secure messaging services, such as Spruce Health, for communications related to VA nexus letter requests and non-patient inquiries. We do not sell or share personal information for marketing purposes.

Do not send confidential medical information, military records, diagnosis information, or emergencies through the website contact form or standard email. A contact form or email submission does not establish a provider-patient relationship.

To schedule an appointment, use the secure Headway platform. Instructions for securely sharing records related to a VA nexus letter request are provided through the secure messaging platform.

MisenCare Psychiatry does not provide emergency or crisis services through this website, email, or secure messaging. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, are in crisis, or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call or text 988.

Under the No Surprises Act, patients who do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected healthcare costs before services are provided. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before receiving nexus letter services or other self-pay services.

VA nexus letters, record reviews, and related consultations are separate non-covered services and are not billed through insurance or Headway. Fees must be paid in advance. Payment does not guarantee that a letter will be written or that a Department of Veterans Affairs claim will have a particular outcome.
